Well, see what you can spend that credit note on. To take an interest in pets, you go to the village. For climbing the tree, the thing you need is in the area around the house. At this point, I think there is a lot of stuff you can find in the maze as well. I forget what the silver key does. If you haven't used it yet, then I think you should look around the library.
