I stand corrected. I swam in what Leen claimed was really warm water, in summer, in New Hampshire, and my legs had gone completely numb in the time it took to walk in up to my waist. And although I didn't swim in San Diego, I went in up to my knees and it was about the same temperature as a warmish day in midwinter around here. It may not be tropical here, but at least you can swim at the beach nine or ten months of the year, or twelve if you're h4rdc0r3.
