I think if you are going to have a big discussion about who looks like whom, you are going to need to post some pictures. How about mug shots side by side?

People used to say my father looked like Clark Gable. It could have been his wavy black hair and mustache. Frankly, I think Clark might have been flattered.

I once knew a girl that looked like a movie star.
Lassie.

And I had a teacher who looked like Thelma Ritter, but she didn't sound the same.

Everytime I put on a hat, somebody says I look like Crankshaft in the funnies. I don't wear a hat much anymore.

And while we are on the look-alike subject, let me tell this one:
In June, my wife and I went to a scooter meet in North Carolina. We kept seeing a young man who looked a lot like our son, Sam. They don't look like twins, but could pass for brothers. He dressed like Sam. He wore similar glasses, he had the same auburn mustache, his hairline had receeded slightly just like Sam's. He was about the same height, but slightly slimmer. We watched him discreetly for several days, noticing even similar mannerisms, and then on the last day, my wife struck up a conversation with him and mentioned how much he resembled Sam. It turns out that he is the same age and lives in the same town.
