Radio programs are often shifted as you get further and further out west. For instance, the Opie & Anthony show (pre-whups) was regularly aired an hour or two off to hit an affiliate's drive home slot. In NYC, the show is (was) on from 3 to 7 and gets insane ratings for its slot. If aired live in Seattle, it would be on from 12 to 5 -- nowhere near the coveted "everyone is in their cars and they're listening to our radio station" time.

This is true of all buffets. By advertising this as the best buffet, what your bus driver was saying was, "If you want some crappy food that's better than really crappy food, go here."

If it's Riker, that means it was a ST:TNG episode, which means I probably hate it as much as you do.
