It's fun once you get to know it, and is something to do during the winter 'sides staying inside grumbling and shoveling the sidewalk every 15 minutes in a snowstorm. Or make a snowman and tackle it. Good stress relief. Or shoot it with a 30.06 if you live in a rural area. That's good stress relief too. Or make snowangels. Or make a HUGE pile of snow and jump off your roof or deck or something onto it. Make a snowfort or somethin'.

Ah so. Yankee pilot make one beeg mistake.
You see, I live in Tennessee where measureable snow is a thing of the past. Since global warming reared it's ugly head, we don't get enough snow for a good snow ball. If I had saved all the snow that fell in my yard over the last three years, I wouldn't have enough snow for a normal-sized snowman. In this area, a kid's first complete sentence is usually, "What's snow, Momma?" I'm not one who hates winter. How can you hate what you can't remember? In 1960, we had a total of 56 inches of snow in Jan., Feb., and Mar. At one point it was 18 inched deep. Now we would be pleased to see a winter with a total of 56 milimeters of snow.
