Grish, you of all people should know that disbelief does not make something cease to exist except for that episode of the X-Files.

I have a feeling that it comes down to the content of alcohol in the item. Eat enough rum cake and you could feel the effects. Usually the alcohol cooks off, though. A loaf of my grandma's beer bread does nothing but make me full, bloated, and happy. I don't know what the true legal definition is. There are chocolate candies that have liquers in them but I could barely eat one when I was underage and I haven't had one since. I know that Jell-O shots would probably fall under the same thing when underage.

As for marijuana brownies and such, of course it is illegal when in food since it is illegal at all times.
