Mountain Dew is my favorite drink, and Root Beer is my second favorite. However, I don't think much of code red, though. Tastes to me like your generic cherry soda. On a side note, and this may sound a little weird, but what *really* tastes good is Mountain Dew and Root Beer *together*. It's rather strange, to say the least. You don't really taste a mixture of the two; you just kind of taste the Mountain Dew, then the Root Beer, then the Mountain Dew, then the Root Beer, and so on. You just have to have quite a bit more Mountain Dew that Root Beer for this effect to work; othertherwise, it will simply taste like Root Beer, since, Root Beer has a much richer taste than Mountain, and that taste will kind of overshadow the Mountain Dew's taste if you have the same amount of both dioxided delights in your carbonated concoction.
