Mostly it was because I was standing there saying to myself, "Wow. Faux Pas isn't six foot four and built like Schwarzenegger", which for some reason has always been my mental image of him. Oddly enough, I find I *still* picture him that way, even after SEEING he's around my height. Also, I'm thinking "built rather well" is the most flatteringly ingenious way ever of saying "way fatter than I expected". That sort of rules.

Apart from Faux Pas, everyone looked the way I thought they would, except that Mousie and Mia were even littler and cuter than I expected. I wanted to pick them up and swing them around just to see how easy it would be. That, or pat them on the head like a kitten. I'm glad I don't live in a world where there are hobbits.
