Well, thanks. I guess that pretty much answers my question. Sometimes it takes something like that for me to understand how other people think. After being raised a certain way, I suppose my mind is hardwired to think a certain way. I think everybody's like this, which is why online debates are so positively frustrating. We're all pretty closed-minded, whether we like to admit it or not. We just don't like to think that what we've believed for so many years might be wrong, and some faceless guy across the internet certainly isn't going to change our minds now. I'm surprised I even try to debate people like that anymore. :-)
