Story Hunt 4:8 & 4:12 - stuck on these two

Ok i'm still stuck on chapter 8 but I managed to work out the other clues up to chapter 12.

I've read all the posts and I have to say it doesn't make it any easier! I'm still stuck :o(

So I'd really appreciate some help.
The hardest thing about these clues is that you end up with your brain turned into cold spaghetti and I've typed in all kinds of titles and words - all wrong!
