YES. Nearly every computer game I own was purchased this way. Madden 2000. SimCity 3000 Unlimited. Civilization: Call To Power 2. Red Alert 2. Final Fantasy 7 (which I've never actually PLAYED yet, depsite having owned it for a year-and-a-half. But hey, it was dirt cheap.) I don't care if a game's a bit out of date. If I'm willing to buy it a year or more after it comes out, that must mean it's pretty good, right? Or I'm stupid. Either or.
