I got my copy today. It ROCKS! There is a whole chapter devoted to RinkWorks (entitled "RinkWorks"), which is not the case for all of the web sites that were featured. The chapter consists of some selections from Computer Stupidities (which I read and laughed about again, because, since there are over 1000 anecdotes on CS, I forget a lot of them), but the cool part is that the chapter is headed by about a page-long introduction by ME! The author had interviewed me a long time ago, and I answered his questions, and he edited my answers into a single piece of introductory text. It ROCKS.
The rest of the book rules, too. Most of it consists of CS-like anecdotes, but there is more as well. I love it.
Footnote: One of the absolute coolest things was an observation about the editing that probably nobody else but me will ever notice. Most of the early CS anecdotes have the colons that follow speakers' names in boldface, while the later anecdotes have non-boldface colons. This was the result of an early unintentional change in the way I formatted the anecdotes, and when I discovered it, I didn't want to bother making them all consistent, even though it would be just like me to do so. Anyhow, the anecdotes, as reprinted in the book, also have that inconsistent colon-boldfacing policy. Some of the anecdotes have boldface colons, and some don't. The font is such that the difference is VERY slight, but it's there. THAT RULES. I have half a mind to email the author and point out this "strange formatting inconsistency."
Incidentally, the book has an official web site since I posted last: www.techmares.com.
