> Adventure game players might be interested in the last photo I added. When I wrote the Brackly Hall game, a lot of things and scenes in it were taken from real life. One of them was the fountain in the maze with the stone water-dragons. Although I pictured it as being shrunk down a lot to fit into a clearing in a garden maze, the dragon fountain really exists, on the waterfront of Mission Bay. And here it is. The main part of the fountain wasn't switched on when I took the photo, unfortunately. At night there are coloured lights on it and it looks quite nice.

My husband says, "It's like 'The Birds' only with deer . . . it's like 'The Deer.'" I realize this entirely fails to capture the funniness of his statement. But at least I tried.
