Okay, maybe I'm just not getting what the heck you mean, but I think you'll find that every photograph ever taken of anything (using a single camera device) is two-dimensional. Or did you mean to say that they don't show any curvature? I think you're exaggerating the distance (more specifically, lack thereof) that airplanes are removed from the Earth. Ignoring for the moment the Earth's flatness or not, it is *big.* Anyone care to argue with that? Flat or not, one would have to be way higher than a typical airplane flies in order to be able to take a photograph from a perpendicular angle that would show any substantial curvature.
And, similiarly, I think you'll find that there are non-straight-down photographs that have been taken from airplanes that *do* demonstrate the "horizon effect" that would not occur if there were no curvature to the Earth.
