The "lemming" still flies at "midnight," sure. Just maybe not this coming "midnight" or any "midnight" for a little while. I've had the flying lemming project on hold for a while, because it occurred to me that the best I could do with it was an absolutely pants job.
Like I said last night in chat, I'm not actually going to release an AGL game until I think I can make it as enjoyable as Brackley Hall was. I was on the right track with the project I started *after* I suspended the lemming one, but I couldn't keep the interest up. I had an excellent beginning, and a pretty good endgame, too, but nothing in the middle. I still fiddle with that one from time to time, when I get a good idea. Mostly what I figure holds me up is that I don't *like* adventure games, and so I'm not good at making them.
But that's as maybe. Your implied counter-threat did not go unnoticed - but all you have, sir, is a title. And the fact that it was an AGL game, which I never made a secret of. I have many more details about your secret project, and, in my wrath, I will now reveal them to the message forum readership at large.
Sam's "Project R" is a new humour feature to be entitled "Computer Reasonabilities." It's a counterpart to CS that features hilarious anecdotes about people who use their computers properly, like the following:
"One time, a customer called and said 'I'm having trouble with my computer,' so I told him to bring it in and we'd have a look at it. Turns out the cable for the HDD had become disconnected from the power supply, so we plugged it back in. Everything worked fine after that."
Hilarity, no? Well, that's what you can expect from Sam. It's taking so long because he wants to open it at a pretty similar size to CS, so he has a lot of tedious typing to do.
So there, Mr. Smarty Webmaster. That'll teach you to cross me.
