Milk's hidden dangers?

Someone at my college has never had a glass of milk to drink and avoids milk proteins like the plague (in a somewhat literal fashion, since if he even touches milk or eats anything with milk protein in it - which can include some pretty unexpected stuff - he has to get a shot of something soon enough to prevent him from actually dying).

His complexion looks amazing - not just good but the most perfect I've ever seen. It's not a stretch at all for me to imagine that he has never in his life had anything but completely clear skin. I've read stuff about milk being one of the causes of acne, although it's not been proven.

Anyone know what I'm talking about? Seen firsthand knowledge yourself or read anything that convinces you really well? I would have been more inclined to think that his no milk and clear skin is just a coincidence had he not been the most extreme example I've seen of either, and less inclined to believe what I read that supported the connection had I not known him.
