A couple of things. Well 3 actually.

1) You had some sanity to pack away? Wow.

2) Ice cream is good. And it's generally good practice to eat it all before you pack, as it gives you one less thing to pack. From personal experience, I can tell you that packing ice cream isn't the best thing to do anyway, especially if you want to be able to play your vinyl collection ever again.

3) Movie sounds good too (although this depends on the movie, naturally). Despite the moan about how disorganised you are, you sound like you're pretty much sorted. Personally I go for the "back the van up the front door step, heave all of my stuff in the back and pray for only minor breakages, lean on the door to shut it and off I go" strategy. *And* it's all pre-unpacked for ease of moving in, too! (simply reverse the order of events...)
