This is pretty muh the first chance I've had to stop since Thursday night.
I think Bourne told some of you that I was going to humiliate myself by dancing in a silver jumpsuit (yes really shiny!!!!) at the Opening Ceremony of the Commonwealth Games.
This is basically to give you my side of the story.....
Basically I get really badly terriefied in front of large audiences, so why the hell was I doing this, because I wanted to, I love to dance, have had no form of formal training but hey, it's only 1 billion odd people so go with it, oh that and it's the Commonwealth Games.
Tuesday we had a dress rehersal where all our families could see it before the rest of the world, and it was sooooooo much fun, as Bourne told me to think of it as the biggest party I'd ever go to, was it??? oh yes!!!
My parents were really chuffed, they enjoyed the show aside from the athletes parade which was being rehersed, without the athletes, go figure.....
The night itself ruled, I couldn't keep still for one thing, very bad when you have to wait 7 odd hours.
Watched S Club, yes it's cheesy but so am I. From the compound which was our dressing rooms, while simultaneously dancing to "Don't Stop Moving" on a table so I could get a better view.
The athletes were very cool and friendly and for some wierd reason wanted their pictures taken with us all, but I really thought the Canadians were the friendliest, oh and the English and Scots.
Then the Gibbs provided us with the funky song we were dancing too and it was way too much fun, everything worked, yay to the water working, oh and fireworks!!!!
I was on tv in a group shot when I entered the stadium, which was very surreal, but yay I didn't humiliate myself, remembered the dance and had a ball
I want to do it again!!!!!

Dix"two days later and still hyper"ie
