Soothsayer, Sorcerer and Troll problems...

Okay, I know I'm stuck becuase I've gotten further in the game before. I can't get across the troll's bridge and get to the store. I can't get enough gold to give to the soothsayer-- I've given her two already. I can't do anything with the fortresses and the sorcerer. I know that the sunstone is the key to this all, but I can't remember for the life of me where to find it. Hints and/or spoilers would be greatly appreciated.
