Gortman: That's all you have to say? Do you actually believe that every single American citizen should sacrifice themselves for the President...no matter who he is? If you believe that, then fine. But try to come up with more than a one sentence answer. It's very hard to lend any weight to your arguments when they are nothing more than one sentence that in no way addresses the issue at hand.

On a side note, I'd be really curious to see how your opinions change in, say, 10 years or so. You should print out this entire thread and save it somewhere. Come back to it in about 10 or fifteen years and see how you feel. I guarantee you'll have a different opinion on government mandated military service then.
