You want to know how to get into both castles. Well, it appears that you have everything to get inside the south fortress. Try using objects that was either given to you or that you found in the garden or forest. When it comes to the north one, the only way into it is by going in through a very very warm place. If you get something from the south fortress, it will prevent you from dieing. Without it, you would burn to ashes.
