Berstein's another oldie that did some wonderful stuff. Did Mancini score any shows (as Bernstein did "West Side Story"), or did he restrict himself to instrumental movie contributions? I ask out of ignorance. I have heard some of Mancini's wonderful orchestral themes.

Wish i could figure out why i associate him with Aaron Copland--probably just the time period, i don't know.
