Story Hunt: Help please! (4:13 spoiler)

Could someone please help me with Story Hunt 4:13?

The clue is:

Take one, maybe two;
Three might even be nice.
But count with care these sticks of fire,
Or logic will beat you cold like ice.
And forced rhymes.

Is it a number? that's not written out like one, two, three? Does the answer have anything to do with Brain Food's red-starred questions that are more difficult than the usual ones? It was the only think I could think of relating to "logic".

Plus, I counted all the numbers up to 50. I was THAT desperate. Help!!
