As of last Tuesday, I've finally caught up with the rest of you and saw Episode II, and it failed to disappoint.

Some parts of interest:

• No sooner than the movie starts are we promised extravagant special effects with the gigantic explosion supposed to be an attempted assassination of Ex-Queen Amidala.

• Amidala lost her accent :( (although her wardrobe is still pretty bizarre).

• I was the only one in the group I saw this with who noticed Jenna Fett's son referred to as Boba.

• Favorite line, from Kenobi to Anakin (inaccurate): "Someday you're going to be the death of me."

• I was probably one of the few people who did not let Jar Jar Binks ruin their viewing experience in Episode I. Same story here.

• YODA ROX0RS!!

• As did the "car chase" at Coruscant, and the rendezvous in that asteroid field (the latter particularly with the stereo surround sound).

• C3PO makes for better comedy relief than Jar Jar anyday.

• Did anyone else notice the Imperial March play in the background after Anakin returns from his mother's death scene?
