It's been awhile since I played FQ but I'll give it a shot:
> 1. Can't get in Fortress. (Tried "magic words" in combo. with throwing hook, shooting arrow, even fishing rod)
You get in from another area.
> 2. Nothing happens in volcano. (Can't catch anything with fishing rod & dog won't leave volcano or give me anything no matter how much I play with him, etc.)
If you've tried every option it gives you then you don't have the item you need.
> 3. Tower - absolutely nothing!
> 4. Castle - Ditto #1.
> 5. Soothsayer - I think I goofed. Got so excited when I found gold coin, ran and gave it to her before talking to her again. Can't find another coin in garden to give her.
You'll find coins in various places to give her.
> 6. Can't find key for boat. (Gold one, I presume?)
> 7. Can't catch any fish - ever.
> 8. Sprite just keeps laughing at me. (have danced my legs off!)
> Any suggestions?
