Yes, I found the secret area, with a LOT of help from whitehelm - couldn't have done it without him.
If you want a few hints to help you find it, you can e-mail me at AJDaGreat@aol.com. But make sure you include "GOA" or "secret area" in the subject, because I get a lot of junk mail and if I don't recognize the address, I'll delete it unless I have a reason not to.
Also, don't give out my address or else the spirits of the Internet with come and wreak havoc with you.
I will say this: the way to find the secret area actually kinda makes sense. It's not something dumb like, if you dance in the indentation from the boulder of doom enough, a door magically appears.
