Murkon ~ Rogue suddenly losing skills?

My level 13 Rogue is suddenly very bad at disarming treasure chests. She's been pretty good until now. I'm just wandering a few characters around levels 1-4 to build experience. I've mapped all of level 6 and ventured slowly into 7 so I know it's not the difficulty factor. What could be the problem?
