So I went "sailing" this morning and ran across four of my former students. I like it when that happens, but it's depressing when they have gray hair. It's hard to think of all those 7th and 8th graders as middle aged.> > How"only spent about $15"ard

I did quite well. I got some old fishing lures for $11. I'm going to sell them on eBay and become very rich. I also picked up a cheap rod and reel that the kids can use when we go fishing.
Then there were two Zippo lighters that collectors like. I'll put them on eBay, too. I bought a bucket of wooden blocks, but haven't decided what to do with them yet. I also got a 25 year old bicycle. My daughter was not happy with her 18 speed bike that wouldn't stay in adjustment, so I picked up a 3-speed Huffy. Guess what. It's out of adjustment, but I can fix old bikes easier than new ones.

Last week I bought an antique dresser which is now cluttering up the carport until I can get it cleaned up and sell it. I might make a few bucks on that. All proceeds go to support poor, underfunded motor scooter collectors like me.

I never buy clothes at sales. I have too many already.

To paraphrase Columbus, "Sale on, sale on!"
