I really can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not. However, for anyone who's wondering, here's the scoop on combat modifiers:
Combat modifiers are values beyond strength, dexterity and WC that affect how well the character uses weapons. They are not choices you make in combat, but are class-specific. Assassins have the greatest modifier, knights second, then wizards, then sorcerors and druids last.
If you didn't understand that, look at the older posts in this forum. I'm sure Sam talked about it a bit earlier.
