Select characters of gender and race least conducive for the class that you wish to train them as and then take them out to explore the labarynth with no equipment. When you level up, add all the points to the least essential attributes like charisma, wisdom, and IQ for fighters; and charisma, dexterity, and strength for spell casters. I estimate that it will take about 5 years to complete the game with a party of this type.

Yeah, a little overboard.

Anyway, I already created the three characters and they're already at level 8. I'm not starting over.

Also, these three bring my roster to 18 characters, of which the other 15 are in blissful retirement. I'm hoping that having a full roster will finally help me cure my addiction to MR.

I figured it'd be virtually impracticable to have a single fighter with WC 0, AC 0 and no spells starting out a game all alone. As it is, gold is a bit of an issue. If all three die and they don't have enough gold to resurrect one of them at Perinn (which is getting progressively more expensive) then I have to start over.

I don't really have the patience to never use the extra points, since improved attributes are all my guys have right now. Anyway, getting all attributes to 30 is just a matter of time. It's not like they'll lack anything fundamental, like magic, for the entire game because of never using extra points. Also, they'll desperately need any WC and AC they accumulate once they get retrained as Assassins in aboot 5-7 levels.
