Actually, I just got back, but I'm always ready to go again. This is a good time to go. Prices are down and so are the crowds. I saw several beaches that were empty on weekdays. Oahu is called "the gathering place" and has 80% of the state's population, plus the lion's share of the tourist business. I was amazed to find it uncrowded. The other islands must be completely empty.
