Druids will take till level 23 to learn all their spells, whereas other casters can get there at level 17. Druids can also use almost no equipment, but they get AC every few levels and they get more SP. It's your call.

A spellcasting fighter is a good idea. Knights get more HP than Assassins and can use a few more things, but Assassins pick up WC and AC in a hurry. Your choice.

Personally, I like Wizards and Assassins.

If you have casters who know all the spells, and you seem to be able to hold your own on level 9, I don't think Teralt will be too much of a problem. Give it a try, just don't stay there with less than a million gold or so, in your situation.
