POA / Perils of Akumos - Johnson's evidence, tubes, shield

Thanks to everyone who's helped me along in POA. And I'm really close, I can feel it. So this may be my last post. In advance, I sincerely appreciate everyone's help. Anyway, I have a few questions.

1) Kevin Johnson is on my side now, but he doesn't have any reason to act immediately. I guess I have to get some more evidence, but I have no clue where to get it. I have ravaged Kepler's office and hacked into his file, but still nothing convinced Johnson to act immediately. Could someone give me a nudge in the right direction?

2) I read up on the rubber tubes, and I think I got all the ones that people were having trouble with, but I still need a 4th one - the one that I assume is in the ore refinery (even though on every post I've checked, everyone has the one from the ore refinery). Little help please?

3) I made the shield (thank God I'm done in the mines!!), but the game tells me I can't get it past the door. I think it probably doesn't matter at this point in the game (I have no clue what I even want to use the shield for), but maybe someone could give me help for the future?
