> Don, what you need to do is sort your list somehow, e.g. alphabetically by name, so that you can tell instantly whether an item you encounter is on the list.
Already done. Do you have any idea how tedious it is to check EVERY item you find against a list (even an alphabetized list) of 200 items?
> You could also create a dozen or so game characters, and give them collectively one of each item. Each character can hold 6 equipped items and 9 others, so two full teams is more than enough to hold the projected 209 items.
Well, it would take a while to collect up all the items, to start. Second, I couldn't do it unless I used one of my current party members for the purpose as well, and that won't be happening. Your math must be flawed: Two full teams (and all 12 of my remaining spots) is 12 characters, times 15 items each is only 180. Besides, I don't see how this would help any more than the list does.
> Then diligently check everything you find. Perhaps trolling the Shop at Perinn or Teralt would be the best way to make sure you've encountered all the low-level items.
See above. I may do it if I get desperate, but it will SUCK. Besides, I've been trolling the items shops since the beginning of the game anyway. The only things I could be missing are higher bonus versions of items I already have listed, or items I simply have not found.
> Just a thought.
Appreciated, of course. It just won't help me in my current situation, I don't think. :-)
> Actually, I'm not sure I've had the Amulet. I don't know which it is, and I never remember sale prices.
If you post an email address, I could tell you what it is and what it does. I'm pretty sure you'd remember it if you had had it and saw that info. I won't be putting a spoiler up here, though.
