(2) This is really a question more for Sam than anyone else unless they do know. When it gives the list of monsters, it shows a picture of the first group of monsters. I've seen a lot of different pictures. Are they computer made or hand-drawn (which it appears to be to me)? If hand-drawn, who drew them? I just wanted to tell that person that they did a really good job on the pictures.

I think Sam would want you to find the bronze door for yourself. You'll know it when you find it, and anyway you should be looking everywhere. No telling what you might miss otherwise. Expect the bronze door to block your path to Murkon, and you'll almost be able to identify it from the map alone.

Typically it appears best to progress toward Murkon till something stands in your way that appears to require an Item of Specialness. That's how you find out you need Proper Authorization to get to the stairs, and so on. Just go as deep as you can, and when you can't go any deeper, start searching that floor and other accessible floors for the missing Item of Specialness.
