No problem. Don't forget, when you go back to a level (e.g., return to 5 after cashing in your goodies at the Kaliti Inn), not only are the monsters reset, but the pools are refilled with new goodies. I bet I cleaned out that section of level 5, and emptied its pools, between 10 and 20 times. Major leveling up.
It never even occurred to me to try selling goodies before resurrecting dead parties. I always resurrected first -- but then, I was never very short on cash.
