I found items with more impressive healing power than that, and anyway if you have frequent battles you'll have to cast RESTORE or HEALTH, which doesn't depend on how many HP you have before casting. Also, you can't take all that many steps without running into a monster anyway, and you will deplete your precious levitation if you do. > > I don't know if Druids get more SP than Wizards or Sorcerers. Of course, they do keep their IQ and Wisdom while learning both sets of spells, so you save the cost and inevitable delay of retraining.
I use three Druids myself, and I believe they do get more SP than the specialist classes. Which is handy. The self-healing... isn't all that useful, no.
My advice on converting to Druid: get all thirty-six spells for the original class first. Make things a lot easier.
Oh, and for getting new spells, it's a game of catch-up. You don't learn any spells of your original class until you get up to the same number in the other class' spells.
