I am currently trying to finish the game with one character. I don't know how Darien went aboot it, but I'm using only one character from start to finish. I had to delete three of them because they didn't have enough money to resurrect themselves on level 2 or 3.

I don't think there are spell point restoring items. Restoring spell points is almost cheating, since it would give you unlimited resurrection, healing, and attacks.
