No, I haven't beat the game with my first party yet, but I just HAD to create a new party consisting of:

Sinbad
Prince Ali
The Chinese Soldier of Fortune
The Viking Warrior
Poochie the Dwarf
The Bald Cook

Beware, villainy! The greatest and most noble band of adventurers in the world is coming to thwart your plans and rescue the Princess of All That Is Good and Pure!
