It's ok. I was in your place at one point. You are still in the fortress. You have to get out of the fortress and gardens. After you get out of the gardens, then you have to go east. Then go east until you come to an option that says to look in the bushes (or something like that). You will then find where the tower it. That is where you get the jeweled dagger.
