No way. *Expect* him to change his dreams, perhaps even soon, perhaps even many more times, but there's no harm done in fostering those individual dreams he has along the way. Sometimes kids need to try out a lot of different things that *seem* appealing before they realize whether or not the reality matches up with their expectations. Whether he has these same dreams next year or not, having and pursuing them this year is a step ahead in the natural process of discovering what it is he wants to do with his life.
