Ok, I'll try to help you out as much as possible. To get into the tower, you need to keep looking around the tower, it takes clicking an option more than once. Now to the castles. With the south castles, you need to give the soothsayer a whole bunch of gold coins (I think it's 4) until she gives you a ring. That will help after the drawbridge down. To get the drawbridge down, you need something from the gnome (look around the sphinx for him). With the north castle, you can't enter it through the drawbridge the first time. You need to enter the castle through a very, very warm spot. And there will be something in the south castle that will help you out with that. And don't worry about the boxes.
