Fantasy Quest ...... The Tower and South Castle

I still dont have the password for the forest tower and I can't get by the fire on the southern castle. I read that I need more coins but I could only find 2 which I gave to the soothsayer. I also cant do anything with the sorcerer in the forest. Nor find the key to the boat, open the north castle, kill the sphinx, or really do much of anything.

Please help.
