Rubber tubes -- that one above your room, I don't think you can get it unless you've done some other things first.

Have you met the janitor and checked the supplies in that area? That might help with the rubber tubes, your job tasks, and later things.

Have you incurred any minor injuries upon finding something during your station explorations? Visited the medical area and talked to the patients?

What are you already carrying?
