Frequently Frustrated in Fantasy Quest (FQ)

Can anyone help me? I was asked a password in the volcano fortress, and I gave a 5th gold coin to the soothsayer. But now when I go back and try to jump in the volcano, it says the volcano erupts and I die. Can anyone tell me what I do after I get the second password? I've tried exploring around the volcano but nothing seems to work.
