Frustrated in Fantasy Quest (FQ)

I checked the other messages about FQ, but all of them were either before where I am or after. I have no clue what to do. My inventory:
Sack
Silver Key
Shovel
Bow
Club
Rope
Sword
Hammer
Arrow
Ticket
Branch
Diamond
Nails
Jewel
Here's what I have done so far:
1. I have defeated the cat and discovered that castle.
2. I have beaten all the enemies in the enchanted forest (I think) and seen the sorceror, who was of very little help.
3. I have found one gold coin and given it to the sorceror, but can't find any more.
4. I have wasted many hours of my life on this game.
5. I have wondered as to how to get the dagger, the hook, the fishing pole, the sunstone, the gold key, etc.
I am completely stuck. Please provide help. Thank you in advance.
