Okay, there's two things, maybe three that you need to do.

#1. You need to search EVERYTHING in your house, and I mean, EVERYTHING. Multiple times. Get as much money as you can.

#2. Once you have as much money as you can, you need to go swimming in the well, but make sure you have a way to get out before you do.

#3. Use the item that you get from what you find in the well, and the item that you get from spending the money you have (and you have to be persistent) and you'll be able to get somewhere.
