Look around for a place where you can do something with a 4-digit number. If you've examined some areas near the poem, you might have noted some connection with games and puzzles. Who have you met who likes to work on puzzles? I think he was about a dozen pieces short of finishing one.

What might you finally be able to touch if that person is out of his room? If you're not sure who I'm talking about, this person is now in the SW corner of the arboretum.
