More TOA help--I am pathetic!!! :)

OK-
I have completed all four tasks. I have the gun, the putty, the gas canister, a remote controlled airplane, a rock and multiple other seemingly useless items.
I am on the overpass trying to get hennus. I used the putty to get down but it never gives me the option to use the gas canister before I use the remote airplane to punch a hole in the bus and go inside so I keep getting "cut" by the director. I think I have tried this like 10 times without success!
Am I missing something?!?
