You may already know about these, but then again you may not. Here are some sites for adventures where you have to make up your own options rather than choosing: www.freearcade.com(under text adventures; includes a link to scott adams' site, where you can download all his games free, plus hints)& Wild Bill's adventure games(unsure of the URL, but you should be able to find it by searching. if you go to ask.com and search under text adventure games, it's on the third page). If you need help, there are boards and cheats at http://hjem.get2net.dk/gunn/. Have fun!
P.S. If you go to Wild Bill, I recommend Hitchhiker and Leather Goddesses. Great games!
